The information used for this section are from Similarweb focusing on Just Eat in the UK website (numbers can change on Similarweb frequently).
Just-eat.co.uk website is ranked number 1 in the food and drinks category with a country rank of 65 in the UK. Their total visits at the end of December 2021 has increased from November 2021, from 23.3 million to 25.96 million with a 11.22% increase. However, this is due to customer's seasonal behavior on December although they are consistently receiving higher numbers of visits than their competitors in the UK such as Deliveroo.
The website's average visits duration is 6:40 minutes with an average of 7.12 pages per visit which would indicate that their website is engaging and user friendly and more importantly it's because customers would want to see various different options of food that they could buy in their area. However, a bounce rate of 43.50% is problem as it is higher than their competitors meaning that there is a need for improvements which could be showing images of the food when ordering.

Just-eat.co.uk main source of traffic is by direct with 51.12% as it is their marketing strategy which is followed by searches with 40.47%. Their 40.47% of searches is split between organic searches and paid searches. Just Eat has 71.9% of organic searches with "just eat" as the most used keyword. With 28.1% of paid searches, Just Eat UK will appear when consumers search Just Eat competitors such as Uber Eats with 1.18% or Deliveroo with 0.67%.
The traffic from referrals is very low with 1.24% coming from connected restaurants such as McDonald's or travel platforms such as Tripadvisor.

Their lowest traffic is mail with 1.16%. This would be good for Just Eat to engage with their customers more such as introducing new food from a restaurant or notify new deals if they were to focus on this traffic.
