Digital marketing promotes the company online to consumers using the internet such as social media, emails, websites, sponsors, etc.


Just Eat uses Search Engine Marketing to increase their visibility through payment on search engines to target specific keyword. According to Similarweb, their paid searches were 28.1% on their UK website. The majority keyword on paid searches is "just eat".


Just Eat launched their services in the early 2000s before the increasing use of smartphones. As smartphones began to gain more popularity and uses, Just Eat used mobile marketing and develop their own app to have food delivery to be more convenient for customers but also restaurants which results to faster deliveries to customers.


Just Eat Takeaway.com use social media to advertise their brand worldwide to reach as many customers as they can where they operate. They advertised on YouTube showing how many restaurants they are connected. This should bring attention to consumers who are interested to bring restaurant food right to there homes. They also feature popular celebrities such as Snoop Dogg to attract their fans to the brand. This means that fans of the celebrity will more likely use Just Eat's service.


As of right now, Just Eat relies on social media and having their app to be top of the food delivery service. I recommend Just Eat to branch out their digital marketing such as pay per click on other websites where they pay a fee for every click the ad received. This would mean that Just Eat has more opportunities to attract more consumers into using their service.
